Grumping over Network Marketing

Why do some people not like Network Marketing?

In contrast to common belief, it is not because of the often used pyramid-thing-reason.

Here is why

  1. It’s not a pyramid-scheme (read the Pyramid Myth)
  2. It’s highly legally regulated
  3. It’s a § 250 billion dollar global industry (so it most certainly works)
  4. Millions of people worldwide engage with it
  5. Some make no money (but learn something), some make some money, some make a lot of money, some become rich, some become millionaires or billionaires
  6. Hard selling is over – it no longer works – it’s about authenticity, attraction and connection. (read Ethical NWM)

The true reason it get’s some people grumpy:

MONEY

No topic in the human experience is as loaded as the subject of money.

Many people refuse to take personal responsibility when it comes to money.

  • They blame the rich
  • They blame employers
  • They blame the government
  • They blame money itself
  • They blame capitalism
  • They blame systems

Although some observations partially in certain cases might be correct – hating on the very thing you want more of – when you know anything about how the universe works – makes no sense.  Quite the opposite.  The rich become richer, the poor become poorer.

Energy has no opinion – it just creates.

A poverty-consciousness creates more poverty.

An abundance-consciousness creates more abundance.

I wish more money for everybody.
Moreover – I know everybody can have more money.
I also know, hating on money or those who make it – does not create it for yourself.

Even if you’re a knight in shining armour on a crusade against capitalism in favour of the poor – it does not work that way (we have extensively tried communism and clearly decided against it as a society).

Also giving billions upon billions to poor countries, does not help (also that has been done and investigation sadly confirms it).

Most certainly those with a Messiah-complex or Moral Righteousness thinking they should save the world from it’s sins have been proven as fraudulent as the ones they criticise.

The only way to help people, is to show them how to do it.

One of the most amazing non-profits in that field, I find, is Oxfam.
They do not just give money – they give affordable credit and show them how to set up a business.

I fully endorse that, because it puts people in their power, teaches them in a practical way how to go about it and lets them benefit from the profits.

I find Network Marketing doing the same.

Not necessarily for the poor, but for sure for those finding themselves in the rat-race, working around the clock for 40 years for somebody else, with a limited income and a small pension.

The company, the products, the webshops, … are already established.
All you need to do is the work.

People who preceded you – will teach you – for free I might add.

The reality however is, that most people have given up within 6 months for, yes, it is an insanely simple (proven) system – but is it not easy.

What are the difficulties then?

  • opinions of other people who don’t agree
  • personal negative beliefs about money, success and worthiness
  • endurance – building anything worthwhile takes time
  • dealing with more no’s than yes’s (normal commercial reality)

But of course, knowing human nature, people rather blame than look realistically at their own behaviour and the true why of their results.

So obviously, in an open system (anybody has access to it) that holds a promise of financial wealth, with many trying but not so many succeeding, inevitably ends up getting some haters too.

It is simply easier for the human consciousness to blame than to take personal responsibility.

I find it somewhat weird however.

Almost anybody would wish for more money, for themselves or others.
But you’re not supposed to like it, let alone love it and most certainly not promote it.
Moreover, how would hating on it, or systems that make it possible, help them get more?

Money represents freedom – and freedom is the birthright of any human being.

So if you get over your own money issues and accept that some others sometimes will quite harshly oppose you – then Network Marketing is for you.

The Universe doesn’t care about the limiting beliefs humanity holds.

It creates realities according to the beliefs being held.

If you are able to focus on the good and ignore to the best of your capabilities those in disagreement – you might well be one of the winners in Network Marketing.

If you like giving a lot – best make sure you have lots to give!
